New Arrivals: Alpha Lotus, Beta Power & 550+ Other Magic Cards

This week’s New Arrivals might be our biggest drop to date, with over 550 new cards going live at once. We’re talking Alpha Black Lotus, Beta and Unlimited Power, Alpha and Beta Dual Lands, International Edition Power and Duals, Old School icons from Arabian Nights, Antiquities and Legends, a massive Dual Land restock, Premodern staples, Retro Foils, Harper Prism rarities and much more.

If there was ever a week to dig through the full update, this is it.

Alpha, Beta and Unlimited

We’re starting with the biggest names in Magic: Alpha, Beta and Unlimited Power. The clear headline is Black Lotus, with a Light Played Alpha Lotus, a Played Beta Black Lotus and an Excellent Unlimited Black Lotus, all joining the store this week. That alone would make this a huge update, but the Power lineup keeps going with Beta Ancestral Recall (GD), Beta Timetwister (EX), Beta Time Walk (PL), Beta Mox Sapphire (NM), Beta Mox Emerald (EX), plus Unlimited Mox Jet (PL), Mox Pearl (PL) and Mox Ruby (PL).

The Dual Land side is just as serious. Alpha brings Underground Sea (LP), Tropical Island (EX), Taiga (PL, GD) and Badlands (PO), while Beta adds Volcanic Island (GD), Underground Sea (GD), Tundra (GD), Tropical Island (GD), Taiga (LP) and Savannah (GD) in multiple condition options. Add classics like Beta Wheel of Fortune, Shivan Dragon or Sol Ring and this section is pure early-Magic royalty.

International Edition

International Edition gets a full collector-style Power and Dual Land spread this week. The Power lineup includes Black Lotus, Ancestral Recall, Time Walk, Timetwister and all of the Moxen, with both cleaner Near Mint options and more affordable played copies represented.

The International Edition Duals are also stacked: Underground Sea, Volcanic Island, Tundra, Tropical Island or Badlands are all here. Whether you’re chasing the unique square-corner collector look or want a nostalgic display piece with serious vintage flavor, this section has a lot to offer.

Old School Madness

Now it’s time for the Magic: The Gathering cards you’ve been waiting for! Old School madness, loaded with Arabian Nights, Antiquities and Legends icons this week. Arabian Nights brings heavy hitters like Bazaar of Baghdad in Good and Excellent, Juzam Djinn in Near Mint, Library of Alexandria (PL, EX), City of Brass (EX) or City in a Bottle (NM).

Antiquities is just as exciting, with Mishra’s Workshop in multiple conditions, Candelabra of Tawnos, Transmute Artifact, Power Artifact and several Mishra’s Factory variants.

Legends rounds out the section with The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale (EX), The Abyss (PL), Mana Drain (PL - GD), Sylvan Library (NM), Mirror Universe (PL), Living Plane (PO) and Italian Legends highlights like Chains of Mephistopheles (EX, NM) and Tabernacle (EX). This is exactly the kind of old-school update collectors love to dig through.

Huge Dual Land Restock

We always have new Dual Lands coming in, but this week’s restock is truly huge. Revised Duals are available across the full cycle, including Underground Sea, Volcanic Island, Tundra, Tropical Island and Bayou, with lots of condition options for players and collectors.

There’s also a nice Foreign Black Bordered and Foreign White Bordered spread. FBB highlights include Volcanic Island and Bayou, while FWB adds Plateau, Bayou, Savannah, Taiga and multiple Tropical Islands. If you’ve been waiting to upgrade a mana base or finally check a specific Dual Land off your list, this is a very good week to browse.

Big Premodern Update

Premodern and Legacy get a massive update as well. Mox Diamond is one of the biggest headlines, with several copies across different conditions, joined by Lion’s Eye Diamond, Gaea’s Cradle, City of Traitors, Grim Monolith and Serra’s Sanctum.

There’s also a deep bench of format staples: Survival of the Fittest, Intuition, Replenish, Gilded Drake, Yawgmoth’s Will and Phyrexian Dreadnought all show up with multiple condition options. Whether you’re working on Premodern, Legacy, cEDH or just love the late-90s power era of Magic, this section is stacked with cards that still feel unfair decades later.

Retro Foils

Retro Foils bring a huge wave of old-frame shine this week. The biggest highlights include Polluted Delta, Flooded Strand, Yawgmoth’s Will Judge Promo, Misdirection, Masticore, Mox Diamond from From the Vault: Relics and many more!

There’s also a strong spell-heavy package with Orim’s Chant, Brain Freeze, Chain of Vapor, Gush or Stifle. It’s a perfect mix of Premodern nostalgia, Legacy playability and collector-grade foil appeal.

Harper Prism Craziness

Harper Prism craziness is back with multiple Mana Crypts from the Harper Prism Promos lineup. These oddball promo cards have their own unique charm and always stand out next to regular Magic printings.

We’ve also got a few more MTG rarities in the mix, including City of Brass from Chronicles, a World Championship Deck Gaea’s Cradle and a misprinted Serra Angel. It’s a small section, but exactly the kind of strange, collectible Magic corner that makes New Arrivals fun.
